365 Days of Creativity

Really, what am I thinking? 365 days of creativity….1 year nonstop? 😳 You may be asking, “Will she have the self discipline to really do this? Why make such a commitment?” The short answer is... with God all things are possible! 😊 I am committing this creative venture to the Lord and asking for His help to stay focused. As a working artist and art educator, creativity should be a given, right? Theoretically yes, however, “life” often takes over and my creativity cup finds itself running dry. I gave myself a 30 days of creativity challenge 18 months ago. It was a much needed, life-giving experience. I pray that this will be too. Now don’t get me wrong, I am not going to be legalistic about this. My goal is to pour into that creative cup every single day. That may be writing a devotional, experimenting with new art supplies, taking photos on a hike, or sketching a sunset in 15 minutes. Do you want to come along on this creative venture with me? Try a 3 days or 10 days of creativity challenge of your own. As image bearers of God, we have the ability to create. Let’s be inspired by the Father of creativity! I am ready to see my cup overflowing!

I will update my website blog each week. Follow along on Instagram to see what I am up to creatively every couple of days. It may not be pretty but I will be creating!
